Representing a gold mining company in a dispute with the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning the unlawful refusal to extend mining licences.
Representing several mining companies in a series of related disputes with the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning the unlawful unilateral termination of gold exploration and mining contracts. In one of the disputes, the termination of the contract was found unlawful due to the Ministry’s bad-faith conduct.
