Bakhyt Tukulov spoke at London International Disputes Week 2026

On 3 June 2026, Bakhyt Tukulov, Partner at TKS Disputes, spoke at the panel discussion “Bridging Steppes and Standards: Kazakhstan’s Evolving Dispute Landscape”, organised by BCLP as part of London International Disputes Week (LIDW) 2026, where he discussed recent developments in Kazakhstan relating to the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards against companies with assets in Kazakhstan.

The event brought together legal practitioners from Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom to discuss recent developments in Kazakhstan’s dispute resolution landscape, including litigation, arbitration and enforcement trends, as well as matters involving the AIFC Court and the International Arbitration Centre.

The discussion highlighted a number of recent developments affecting cross-border disputes involving Kazakhstan, reflecting the growing international interest in the region’s dispute resolution landscape.

The panel also featured Lord Burnett, Chief Justice of the AIFC Court, Christopher Campbell-Holt, Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court and International Arbitration Centre, Benjamin Wells of Belgravia Law, Tatiana Menshenina of Fladgate LLP, Galina Borshevskaya of Osborne Clarke and Benjamin Gray of Littleton Chambers.
